Academic Requirements

CST admits students with various levels and backgrounds of educational preparation. Even though the CST studies are similar for each student, high school and Bible school completion as well as future goals will determine the level at which CST certification is granted.  These levels are:

  • CST CERTIFICATE OF GRADUATION The student who has satisfactorily completed 32 CST credits of study but has completed fewer than 64 Bible school credits will receive the
  • CERTIFICATE OF GRADUATION
  • CST DIPLOMA The student who has satisfactorily completed 32 CST credits and has completed at least 64 Bible school credits for a total of 96 credits will receive the CST DIPLOMA.
  • CST BACHELOR OF ARTS IN THEOLOGY The student who has earned a high school diploma or its equivalent, received 96 Bible school credits and satisfactorily completed 32 CST credits for a total of 128 credits may receive the BACHELOR OF ARTS IN THEOLOGY degree.

C 70 – 79 Satisfactory 2.0
D 60 – 69 Poor 1.0
F 0 – 59 Failure 0.0
I Incomplete 0.0

A grade point is a numerical value assigned to a letter grade for the purpose of computing the grade point average. Incomplete grades – Students are expected to complete all course work as specified by the instructor by the end of a seminar.  An incomplete may be given at the option of the instructor with approval from CST administration and only under extenuating circumstances.  If an incomplete is issued, the course work must be completed by the date agreed upon by the CST administration, instructor and student.  An automatic grade of failure will be issued if the work is not submitted.
