Dr. James Lowell brings a wealth of education and experience as a professor, mentor, pastor, educator and teacher to the CST team of professors. He has been a fully appointed missionary with the Assemblies of God World Missions since 1978. He has a Ph.D. in Intercultural Education from Biola University in California and an M.A. in Missions from Assemblies of God Theological Seminary in Missouri. He has a B.A. in Theology and Bible from Northwest University in Washington. He also has a B.A. in Psychology and Secondary Education from the University of Washington.
In addition to his rich education, Dr. Lowell brings years of experience in practical ministry. He has served as a pastor in Washington state and also has served as a consultant and teacher for the Eurasia Education and Development. From 1995 – 1999 he was the Director of Development of Bible Schools and Colleges for Southern Asia in India, Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. Dr. Lowell has been heavily responsible for the development of libraries for every Bible school in India.
Dr. Lowell has received the following awards: Delta Tau Award, Outstanding Graduate of 1971 Northwest College D.D. Awarded Doctor of Divinity, Hindustan Bible College, Madras India for outstanding contribution to Church Growth in South India.
Since 2003 Dr. Lowell has served as Director of Graduate studies with Caribbean School of Theology.
